How does it work?
Students collect donations from family, friends, neighbors, and other supporters before participating in the Color Run. With School-A-Thon, students can fundraise online or in person, earn incentives as they reach milestones, and finish the campaign with a Color-A-Thon event.
What does School-A-Thon provide with the fundraising package?
School-A-Thon provides fundraising and planning tools, promotional materials, student incentives, color powder, route markers, and other event-day essentials. Schools also receive guidance and resources to help organizers manage the fundraiser from kickoff through Color Run day.
How much money does a school keep?
The percentage depends on the total donations raised. Schools keep 50% when raising less than $7,500, 60% when raising $7,500 to $12,499, and 70% when raising $12,500 or more. Schools can also sell banner advertising on their event website and keep 100% of that sponsorship revenue.
Who can participate in the final event?
Students are the primary participants in a School-A-Thon’s color run and earn their place in the event by collecting donations throughout the fundraiser. Schools can also choose to offer the optional Family & Friends Color Club, which allows family members and friends to participate in the fun run by collecting donations. This optional program helps increase community involvement while creating additional fundraising opportunities for your school.
