Participants run or walk through Color Blast Stations positioned throughout the course, where volunteers toss vibrant color powder into the air as they pass. Each station features a different color, creating an increasingly colorful experience from start to finish.
The Final Color Blast
At the finish line, every participant receives an individual color packet for the signature Color Blast. Inspired by the Holi Festival of Colors, everyone tosses their powder into the air together during a group countdown to celebrate the end of the event.

How does a color run work?
The only items not included are event t-shirts and after-party expenses. Event t-shirts can be purchased through School-A-Thon for $5 per shirt.

Your school will provide:

- Creative ideas and school spirit to make your Color-A-Thon unique

BUT, YOU CAN MAKE MORE!!! Schoolathon provides an area on your group’s website where you can insert online “Banner Ads.” Basically, you can sell ad space on the group’s website and keep 100% of the proceeds from the ad sales. Up to 30 ads can be entered, and you set the ad prices – up to $500 each. You just provide us with the artwork and a link (optional), and we add them to the site.
